October Live Music Is Here — 8 Shows, No Cover, All Month Long

The nights are getting cooler, the reds are getting poured, and the music on Broad Street is just getting started.

The Wine Cellar & Tasting Room has live music every Friday and Saturday night in October — Americana trios, Appalachian folk, Sandhills favorites, a Nashville songwriter making her return, and a Halloween night to close it all out. Eight nights, eight reasons to grab a glass and stay a while.

No tickets. No cover. Just show up.

🎸 Friday, October 9 — Rusted Luck

Kick off the weekend with Rod Brady & Rusted Luck, an Americana/rock trio featuring Rod Brady, Charlie Peek, and Vince Parham. Their sound is honest, road-worn Americana with a rock edge — the kind of set that pairs perfectly with a Friday night pour.

🎤 Saturday, October 10 — Momma Molasses

Momma Molasses is the musical project of singer-songwriter Ella Patrick, a Carthage native right here in Moore County. She blends Southern Appalachia, classic country swing, and 1960s folk revival into something all her own, with a rich, rolling voice that's drawn comparisons to Patsy Cline, Mother Maybelle Carter, and early Janis Joplin. Settle in — she'll take you somewhere real.

🎶 Friday, October 16 — Tim Wilson

A Wine Cellar favorite. Tim Wilson & Friends bring the soul of late 20th-century Americana — folk, country, and rock from the '70s, '80s, and '90s. The songs you know by heart, played the way they were meant to be heard: live, with a glass of wine in hand.

🎸 Saturday, October 17 — Whiskey Pines

If you've spent a Saturday night at The Wine Cellar, chances are you've seen Whiskey Pines — and you already know why they keep coming back. A Sandhills staple with a sound that's equal parts Southern rock, country, and good-time energy, they're the kind of band that keeps you in your seat one minute and on your feet the next.

🎤 Friday, October 23 — Will Jones

Will Jones makes his Wine Cellar debut this Friday. Come be part of the first set, grab your spot early, and start the weekend with something new on Broad Street.

🎤 Saturday, October 24 — Claire Larose

She's back. Nashville singer-songwriter Claire Larose took one of the more interesting roads to music — a Division I soccer player on a full-ride scholarship who traded the field for the stage. Her sound blends folk, ambient pop, and warm country undertones into something intimate and honest. Think early Norah Jones meets Noah Kahan. If you caught her in September, you know this one's worth coming back for.

🎶 Friday, October 30 — Scott Grote

Scott Grote picked up a guitar at 12 years old in the Black Hills of South Dakota and never put it down. Raised on the storytelling of John Prine and Guy Clark and the guitar work of Jeff Beck, Scott made the Sandhills his home and became a fixture in the local music scene. His job, his charity, his hobby — it's all music, and you'll hear every bit of it.

🎃 Saturday, October 31 — Chelsea Davis (Halloween Night!)

Close out October on Halloween night with Chelsea Davis. She left Los Angeles at the end of 2020 and brought her talent straight to the Sandhills — and the local music scene has been better for it ever since. Her soulful voice and original songs make for the kind of intimate set The Wine Cellar was built for. Costumes welcome — come as you are, or come as anyone else.
