Summer may be winding down, but the music on Broad Street isn't going anywhere.
The Wine Cellar & Tasting Room is kicking off September with two weekends of live music — a Nashville songwriter making waves, a Sandhills fan favorite, a guitarist who lives and breathes music, and one of Moore County's most fun local acts. Four nights, four reasons to grab a glass and stay a while.
No tickets. No cover. Just show up.
🎤 Friday, September 4 — Claire Larose
Claire Larose is a singer-songwriter out of Nashville who took one of the more interesting roads to get there — she was a Division I soccer player on a full-ride scholarship before trading the field for the stage. Since moving to Nashville in 2022, she's been turning heads with a sound that blends folk, ambient pop, and warm country undertones into something intimate and honest. Think early Norah Jones meets Noah Kahan. Her voice is soulful and smoky, and her songs feel like a journal entry set to music. This is the kind of set The Wine Cellar was made for.
🎸 Saturday, September 5 — Whiskey Pines
If you've been to The Wine Cellar on a Saturday night, chances are you've seen Whiskey Pines — and you already know why they keep coming back. A Sandhills staple with a sound that's equal parts Southern rock, country, and good-time energy, Whiskey Pines are the kind of band that keeps you in your seat one minute and on your feet the next. If you haven't caught them yet, fix that this weekend.
🎶 Friday, September 11 — Scott Grote
Scott Grote picked up a guitar at 12 years old in the Black Hills of South Dakota, and he never put it down. Raised on the storytelling of John Prine and Guy Clark and the guitar work of Jeff Beck, Scott moved to Moore County and made the Sandhills his home. His job, his charity, his hobby — it's all music. You'll hear every one of those influences when he takes the stage, and you'll understand why he's become a fixture in the local music scene.
🎤 Saturday, September 12 — Shoppe Girls
Close out the first half of September with The Shoppe Girls, one of Moore County's own. A local favorite who've been playing venues across the Sandhills, The Shoppe Girls bring the fun and the energy for a Saturday night you won't forget. Grab your crew, grab a glass, and close out the weekend right.
