Every Friday and Saturday night in August, The Wine Cellar & Tasting Room is turning downtown Southern Pines into your go-to spot for live music, good wine, and even better company. Whether you're a front-row regular or you've been meaning to stop in for months — this is the month to do it.

No tickets. No cover. Just show up, grab a glass, and settle in.

🎸 Friday, August 7 — Terminally Chill

Kick off the month with vibes that match the name. Terminally Chill brings a laid-back, eclectic set that pairs perfectly with a Friday night pour. Consider this your official permission to start the weekend early.

🎶 Saturday, August 8 — Jonathan Robinson

Born in rural North Carolina, shaped by Nashville, and back home making the music he grew up with — Jonathan Robinson is a guitarist and songwriter whose influences run deep. Southern rock, blues, a little country, and the kind of jam band energy that turns a Saturday night into something special. If you like your guitar blazing and your vocals soulful, this one's for you.

🎤 Friday, August 14 — Chelsea Davis

Chelsea Davis left Los Angeles at the end of 2020 and brought her talent straight to the Sandhills — and the local music scene has been better for it ever since. Her soulful voice and original songs make for the kind of intimate set that The Wine Cellar was built for.

🎸 Friday, August 21 — Tim Wilson

A Wine Cellar favorite. Tim Wilson & Friends bring the soul of late 20th-century Americana — folk, country, and rock from the '70s, '80s, and '90s. The songs you know by heart, played the way they were meant to be heard: live, with a glass of wine in hand.

🎶 Saturday, August 22 — Howard Buie

Howard Buie takes the stage for a Saturday night of live music at The Wine Cellar. Grab your favorite glass and enjoy the show.

🎤 Friday, August 28 — Mary Stone

Southern Pines' own Mary Stone is a true multi-instrumentalist — keys, guitar, cajón — playing everything from alternative and indie to rock, country, and some fun mashups you won't see coming. Mary plays something for everyone, and she makes it look effortless.

🎸 Saturday, August 29 — Ice Cream 4 Breakfast

Close out the month with Anthony Parks and John McDonald, two friends who bonded over music while working together at the Ice Cream Parlour in downtown Southern Pines back in 2011. What started as after-work jam sessions became one of the Sandhills' most fun live acts. The perfect send-off for an August to remember.
